SRV Guitar Lesson - SRV Lick

SRV (Stevie Ray Vaughan) is one of my all time favourite guitar players. Having spent most of my early years trying to figure out what he was playing (and failing), I wanted to highlight one of his trademark licks in this SRV guitar lesson. This quick lick focuses the semi-tone hammer on that he uses in some of quick fire blues playing. The b9 interval isn't necessarily something that you'd expect in classic blues licks but of course - Stevie makes it work.

Remember to experiment with embellishing the melody in different ways and use it as a vehicle for your own blues improvising 👇
