If you’re keen to book lessons with me but Guildford is just a bit too far away, online lessons could be an excellent alternative.
Why Online Lessons?

It's More Convenient.
For a lot of people, being able to log on for a lesson in the comfort of their own home is far more preferable to travelling. I currently have online students who live as close as Guildford and as far afield as Germany & Chicago.

The Technology Has Arrived.
10 years ago, it maybe wouldn’t have been an option to learn online but the advances in technology and software, especially throughout the course of the pandemic have meant that learning online can, in a lot of ways be just as good as an in-person lesson.

No Travelling.
Even for those who live locally to me, the logistics of travel can often prevent issues. Being able to log on for a lesson can save time. If your work hours are erratic, we can plan lessons which fit with both our schedules.

It's Just Works.
The popularity of online learning has shown what a popular medium it can be for delivery. The sound quality and the screen sharing functions make online lessons an immersive learning experience.
Which Online Platform?
My preference is to use either Zoom or Skype for online lessons. However, I am happy to trial using a difference platform, based on a students’ preference, provided we can achieve a reliable connection.
How Do The Lessons Work?
My online lessons usually follow a format similar to that of my private lessons. Once we’ve agreed on the content to cover, we’ll book in the first lesson. Prior to the lesson starting we’ll have a quick test call to check that the connection is good enough to allow for good audio & video quality.
