What is Good Guitar 'Technique'?

A subject which divides many a guitar player - the notion of 'technique'. For years as a younger player, I thought technique was related to speed and being able to play as fast as possible. However, as I later discovered, being able to play cleanly, in time and with a clear and even sound is a much better indication of having good 'technique.'

Check out this video where I demonstrate a few ways in which you can improve your technique, of which don't involve playing the pentatonic scale as fast as possible! It takes patience and time but take things slowly and the sound coming from your guitar will improve dramatically.
